Everyone loves a webcam if only to see what the weather is like, how rough or calm the sea is, how many people are around, the ships coming in and out of estuaries, harbours, bays, or the local wildlife that surrounds us at night and day but is too shy to be seen in daylight. Below, we have added some popular webcams used frequently by locals.
Torquay Harbour WebCam
This is the Torquay Harbour Webcam overlooking Beacon Quay from the Harbour Masters Office. This is not a streaming cam, but takes a regualr static image. Used by locals for sea sports:sailing, fishing, motorsports and more..
Torbay National Coastwatch
This webcam is from the Torbay National Coastwatch Institution on Daddyhole Plain, looking over Torbay and to the left (although not visible) is Meadfoot Beach. Note: Only available on working days and hours.
Brixham, Breakwater Beach
This webcam is from the cafe at Brixham, just over the carpark wall onto the beach at the Breakwater. This can be reached by taking the Berry Head road.
Paignton Beach
This webcam is from the Preston end of Paignton Beach, looking toward the pier and then to the harbour and Roundham head.
